Transfer response deadline

June 1

Students accepted by May 1 to programs on the Monroe Park Campus must notify the Office of Admissions of their intent to enroll for the fall semester by June 1, or within two weeks if notified of their acceptance after May 1. Applicants accepted to programs on the MCV Campus must follow departmental deadlines.

Eligibility status for in-state tuition rates re-evaluation

Aug. 1 for fall; Dec. 1 for spring

The Certificate of Admission indicates your eligibility status for in-state tuition rates. If you were classified as a non-Virginia resident on this form for tuition purposes and believe that this classification is inaccurate, you may request that your status be re-evaluated prior to Aug. 1 for fall enrollment or Dec. 1 for spring enrollment. To request re-evaluation of your residency status, contact the Office of Admissions and ask to speak with your application processor.

Paying your bill

First official day of semester or date specified on your bill

Payment for tuition, fees, and university room and board charges is due by the first official day of each semester. The exact due date will be specified on your bill. For the fall semester, if you do not register by the August billing date, you will be issued an electronic bill subsequently for your fall semester tuition, fees and other expenses. Payment is due by the date specified on the bill. Refer to the Handbook for Accepted Students and the Student Accounting website for more details about paying your bill and the university’s Installment Payment Plan.

Requesting final transcripts

End of the fourth week of your first semester

All tentatively accepted applicants who enroll at VCU must submit final transcripts. For you to be permitted to continue for a second semester at VCU, final transcripts must be on file in the Office of Admissions by the end of the fourth week of your first semester.
